Pakistani authorities have decided to block access to Facebook and YouTube following the announcement of an online competition to draw pictures of the Prophet Mohammed. The country's telecommunication authority asked internet service providers to indefinitely block the popular social networking websites, saying they contained "blasphemous" material.
