On Thursday, June 20, 2019, an American unmanned spy drone violated the Iranian airspace. This illegal intrusion was met with a missile response by IRGC which blew up this expensive American drone into pieces. The same day, Major General Husayn Salami of IRGC delivered this clear message to America and its allies.
The United States of America initially claimed that this drone was shot down by Iran in the “international waters”. The IRGC Aerospace Force displayed parts of the doomed drone on Friday noon, refuting earlier lies by the US that this spy drone was flying over international waters.
